Governor Brown’s Initial Proposed 2015-1016 Budget for Department of Disability Services

Governor Jerry Brown has released the initial proposal for the 2015-2016 budget for the Department of Disability Services. The proposal includes $5.1 Billion for community service programs and support services. This represents an increase of $452 million above 2014-2015. The number of individual consumers with developmental disabilities in the community served by Regional Centers is expected to increase by 9,724 consumers from 278,593 served in the current year to 288,317 in 2015-2016.
