Founded in 1967, Clausen House is a registered charitable 501(c)(3) organization that provides a continuum of services that include affordable housing units, three level 2 residential group homes, supported employment program, day program/adult education, independent living, supported living, social recreation, and health services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Oakland and the surrounding East Bay localities. Clausen House is the longest servicing agency of adults with IDD in Alameda County. We proudly serve adults seeking support with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other intellectually, and developmentally disabling conditions.
