Debbie Gallano is Clausen House’s Business Office Specialist. Before working at Clausen House, Debbie worked for over 35 years as a Diplomat at the Philippine Consulate General, San Francisco. Debbie joined Clausen House in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, majoring in accounting; she is also a certified Public Accountant. Debbie enjoys working at Clausen House because although many of the day-to-day tasks are similar to her role at the Philippine Consulate, the challenges of working at a nonprofit allow her to sharpen her professional skills. Debbie also enjoys her daily interactions with our clients and the Clausen House staff. Working with such a diverse group of people changed her outlook on life. It made her realize that although people may have different values, customs, or work methods, we can all still work hand in hand to support our clients. Working at Clausen House is truly a rewarding experience for her.
