Clausen House offers a wide range of supports and services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including affordable housing units at below-market rental rates for qualified clients seeking to transition from their family home or residential facility into a greater level of independence.
Our Lenox apartment building, located in the vibrant Adams Point residential neighborhood close to Lake Merritt, offers studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Our affordable apartment complex is located in Adams Point/Lake Merritt and is easily accessible to public transportation, shopping, and downtown Oakland. Clients enjoy living in a scenic neighborhood with many opportunities to socialize and further their integration into the community in which they live in.
Independent Living Skills Instructors are available on-site to provide instruction and assistance Monday-Friday, and a 24hr emergency pager response system allows clients to have access to support in the event of an emergency 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
