About Supported Employment

Clausen House’s Supported Employment Program assists individuals who require ongoing support on and or/off the job in order to choose, obtain, and retain paid employment in integrating settings.

Clausen House offers two options: One is a paid group (enclave) in which a job trainer assists trainees with developing appropriate work habits and skills and interfaces with the employer to enhance success. The other is an individual job placement for those who have demonstrated the ability and desire to work in a less supervised position.

Clausen House seeks and strives to comply with the following local/state and federal regulations in order to enhance the quality of services provided by maximizing opportunities and choices for individuals:

  • The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) 2014
  • California Employment First Policy from WIC Sect. 4869(a)(1)
  • Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule

Let’s Work Together – Employer Partnerships
